Maybe it should be trunk forming
Reminds me a little on some of the "thompsonifolia" (recurvifolia x thompsoniana)-clones !?

The 'mother' plant which donated the pollen is the 'reverchonii-thompsoniana' which is trunk forming and has never produced a side shoot.

I agree that many of the hybrids with reverchonii and thompsoniana look similar.
